Notes
- Herbert was a doctor who was educated in Vienna and then moved to the United States. According to Nona Troper Shafran, Herbert received his medical degree in 1891 from the university of Krakow, then in Austria-Hungary. He was on the staff at the old Mount Sinai Hospital, then called "The Jews' Hospital."
Acccording to the 1920 Census, Herbert was a chemist working at home.
His occupation was shown in the 1900, 1910 and 1930 censues, and on his naturalization papers and his death certificate, as a physician, general practice.
According to the 1910 Census, Henry and Regina had a 25-year old English servant named Jane Rennix.1,2,14,7,15
