  • According to the 1881 British Census, Fannie was a tailor.

    According to the 1900 Cenus, Fannie had six children, all of whom were living.  She, her father and her mother were all born in Austria.  Fannie could read, write and speak English.

    According to the 1920 Census, Fannie was living with Moe in New York.  Her place of birth was listed as England and her native tongue was listed as English, which was crossed out and replaced with German.  Both of Fannie's parents were shown as being born in Austria and speaking German.

    According to the 1930 Census, Fannie rented an apartment for $45 a month in Brooklyn.  Her son, Benny, lived with her.  Both she and her parents were shown as being born in Austria and speaking Yiddish.  She had a roomer, Anthony Farulo, who was born in Italy.


    In her later years, Fannie lived with her daughter, Gertie, in Savannah, Georgia, and died there.16,17,18,19
